The challenge was to create a platform that could handle complex patient consultations, prescription validation by registered practitioners, and secure order processing—all while strictly adhering to UK healthcare regulations and GDPR standards.
They required a unified system to manage the entire lifecycle: from a patient's initial symptom check to the final delivery of medication, ensuring every step was verified, secure, and efficient.

We engineered a custom Laravel platform that integrates clinical logic, order management, and regulatory compliance into one intuitive interface.

- 3-in-1 Operations Hub: A centralised dashboard allowing the client to manage operations, stock, and customer data across multiple websites/storefronts.
- Secure Payment Integration: Seamless integration with Realex and Elavon gateways for secure card payments (VISA, MasterCard, Amex).
- Regulatory Compliance Tools: Built-in integration with the MHRA Quick Verify logo and GDPR-compliant data storage to ensure trust and legality.
- Mobile App Ecosystem: Direct API support and download links for the SimplyMeds mobile app, extending the service to iOS and Android users.
